Letter to Folks 6 p. w/env Has an I.F.Y.E. boy living with her and is trying to put him to work but it seems it’s the other way around; is trying to help get the boy a job so he can live with his sister who has graduated from Mary’s Institution; neighbors borrow her radio to listen to the World Series baseball; its getting colder and so far, no coal or heater; hasn’t been able to get Christmas shopping done since rug prices have doubled; is worried about American inflation; was able to hire her old maid back
