First two weeks are fine but the third week seems to have gone otherwise; "The teachers do not feel a direct loyalty to me as the Ext. girls did"; counterpart missed a few classes and it is unsure whether she'll be back after going back to Istanbul to see her mother; was supposed to stay and not go back to Ankara until the head of Teachers arrived, but she had the feeling he'd never show up and sure enough she was right; is thankful for her new neighbors who have checked on her; had driver troubles "Yes you can keep these people from cheating if you stand over each one with a club constantly and I mean constantly"
