The Leonard E. Bloomquist Collection is composed of his personal writings, research, publications, correspondence, and administrative materials. Most notable in this collection is his work on his Exemplary Faculty study from 1997, which contains transcriptions from interviews with 20 faculty members from the College of Arts and sciences. Some of the other projects in this collection pertain to Dr. Bloomquist's work with rural sociology and his time as the head of the department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work. Approximate years covered in this collection are from 1982-2004.
