Box 6

Box six contains materials related to the Cahokia site that include notes related to Cahokia architecture and excavations. Box six also contains materials related to the Prehistoric Native Americans of the Great Plains, Mesoamerica, and the Pawnee & Wichita series.

Box 7

Box seven contains materials related to research done on Native American sacred sites. Specifically, topics include Pawnee cosmology, animal lodges (and animals in general tribal contexts), and other symbolism and mythology within native tribes. Animal lodge research was conducted in a number of states including Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Oklahoma. Much of the materials related to this topic include corresponding slides and give further context to said slides.

Box 9

Box nine contains materials more of a hobby-related caliber and are not archaeological, but they include Pat's miscellaneous thoughts and theories separate from her archaeological research interests. Included is research conducted on Chicago's fur industry, including a paper written on the topic and transcriptions of an interview conducted by Pat with Edward Labes. Also included in box nine is research on sweet potatoes, King Richard III, the nature and effects of work, and notes on the "Emergence of Man" meetings.

Box 1

Contains materials regarding the All-University Open Houses from 1985-2000. Files are divided by year a majority of the time, the only exclusions being: 1986, 1994, and 1995. 1986 has been divided into two files are much larger than the other deviant years. The 1994 and 1995 files are sparser and more specific, likely part of a larger collection originally. 1994 covers the "Sophomore Only" facet of the Open House, and 1995 covers only correspondence regarding media for the event.

Box 6

Contains Dr. Pat Bosco's "Enrollment Management Notebooks" from 1989-1994 as well as eclectic enrollment files spanning from 1983-1999. The Enrollment Management Notebooks contain correspondence, statistics, newsclippings, and photos regarding enrollment, student retainment, national recruitment outreach, transfer students, demographical data, events, and related minutes/workshops. The other files contain similar information, though in sparser quantities, and are from years outside of the Enrollment Management Notebook range (1983, 1987, 1988, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2004).
